Calling ALL Prayer Warriers......

Tomorrow is the big day! We NEED your prayers. Our court time is 2pm (6am Nashville time) We will be leaving Jinja at 8am in the morning. We are taking Judah (Doyle's little cutie pie) to the doctor for his TB test.....pray that it is negative. I am hoping to get some tests results back for Josie that we were suppose to receive LAST week....pray that they have them. We will be going to get Judah and Josie's passport pics made, eating lunch, then court at 2.
We are growing weary. Dana and I miss our families and are ready to come home! we went to church with Katie today and the pastor spoke on finding joy reguardless of your circumstances. It was just what we NEEDED to hear but not necessarily WANTED to hear. I have continued to tell myself "keep the main thing...the main thing" And the "main thing" is not me, Mike, my kids at home, or my body that is COVERED in mosquito bites (rainy season), it is Josie Love Mayernick. It is getting her the medical care that she needs, as soon as possible. It is giving her the love that she deserves and the physical and emotional care that she is lacking. Pray that Dana and I can keep our minds and hearts on the main thing: JOSIE AND ASHER.

As a fellow mommy who will soon be in your shoes, I feel your apprehension. I will be praying steadfastly.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

He is the main thing. You are surrounded by prayer on all sides with us holding up your tired arms for you to His face. Loving you and can't wait to have you both home. Gwen and I have already planned a night of Coldstone sitting on my balcony after some yummy food.

Your family has been in my prayers and will remain. I think of Uganda so very often throughout the day and all of you that are there, and yes, even though I don't know any of you. Your stories and blogs have captured my heart. My prayers are with all of you and especially tomorrow. God is good.

Suz, not one moment is wasted, the Lord sees your heart, loves your heart, and is right there with you. One thing I learned from our process to bring Mia home is that love is long-suffering and long-suffering can't be learned in a short amount of time ;-) Grace upon grace to you, sweet sister. He who has began a good work will be faithful to complete it. I will pray. Love you.

I have not checked in in a few days so first I have to say that Josie Love looks like a different child. It's amazing to me the way love can blossom a wilted child. It happens in the first hour and sister, I am PRAYING for you having to leave her there and return for her later (is that what is happening? I think that's what Gwen said.) Anyway, I've done that three times and it's the hardest thing ever so I am praying for all of you in your separation.

I am setting the alarm on my phone to pray at 6. I'll be up anyway because if anyone just mentions needing me to pray, I wake up all hours afraid I'll miss the appointed time! :)

I have seen mountains literally melt before our God in foreign courtrooms, I've seen my Father claim jurisdiction and dominion over the most earthly circumstances. I know He will do no less for you because of how you have HONORED Him in your walk there in Uganda. Suzanne, you have been a beautiful example of how I think He must want us all to respond when Satan tries to scare us off His path.

I'm praying!

praying for your court date, praying that the Lord will show up and that his hand would be over the whole process. Praying mercy on you as you are so weary and I am sure so many other words, that God would show up in unexpected ways as you choose to serve him. Your light is shining bright Suzanne, you'll just never know how brightly it is shining to a lost, "lukewarm" people.

We are praying right now that you will find favor in the eyes of the judges, that those babies can come home as soon as possible and that all who are present in that court room will see Jesus through you all. Praying for strength and endurance these last few days and for healing for sweet Josie.

Praying for you, dear Suzanne. I am eager to hear how the court date went and the results from the tests.

"Because of His great love we are not consumed.." It is at times like these when it is so beautiful to have the hands of the body of Christ holding your weary arems up. I pray you will be able to REST in Him today, knowing that not only will you be home in Tennessee soon, but that what you are doing has eternal weight.

All to the praise of His glorious grace!

I just caught up on your blogsite, and I am praying, praying for you all. I LOVE what you said about how you will not find God's peace in excessive planning. I have cut and pasted your paragraph into a document called "Suzanne's Blessing" and I will read it often! It is so true, so helpful ... you are blessing and inspiring so many people with your incredible life and faith in Jesus. May He bless you and sustain you. May he heal your baby girl and give you strength and comfort.

My class at CPA will continue to pray for you all every day.

Just have to pipe in to say that Josie is almost unrecognizable. She's so full of life! Her older pictures stole our hearts but now, WOW! She looks stronger and stronger every time you post. Amazing!
